Miss Barry taught in the NYS public school system. She has been in private practice,
providing multi-sensory structured language teaching since 2002.
Responsibilities included providing individual, group, and collaborative classroom instruction to speech/language impaired students to improve skills in receptive and expressive language and articulation through speaking, listening, and reading lessons.
In the public school system, she team taught with special education teachers using the Wilson Reading System, an Orton-Gillingham based program, providing structured lessons to groups of 3-5 students.
As a private reading tutor, Miss Barry provides individualized multi-sensory reading tutoring using the Wilson Reading System.
